Entry into the 2010 footy tipping competition is now Closed.

All tips must be placed by friday afternoon. They can be done over the phone, email or ask our bar staff. Tipping cards are found in Briefcase behind bar and all tips are to be placed in briefcase by 7pm every Friday.

1. TIPPING DEADLINE 

Tips must be placed in briefcase before 7pm Friday. There may be some Rounds when the first game of the Round is scheduled earlier than 7.30pm Friday therefore an earlier deadline will be necessary. Please check your TV guide, our website or contact the Club.

If there is no Friday night game the deadline will still be 7pm Friday.

If you are unable to place your tips in the tipping box you have the following options:

1. You can submit tips in advance.

2. You may phone or email your tips before deadline. After the deadline you will not receive any points for that round.

1. Any tips submitted after the deadline by whatever method will not be accepted.

2. Any tips without a name will not be accepted.

3. Any tips submitted by phone or email after the deadline will not be accepted.

4. Any tips entered more than once by the same tipper will not be accepted, unless it is clearly stated on second tips to disregard first tips.

Ineligible tips or no entry tips will not receive any points.   

3. SCORES/SCORES DISPUTES

We will endeavour to have scores posted by Tuesday evening. If there is any dispute (either for the stated Round or overall scores) please notify Mel on Reception as soon as possible and we will investigate.

4. POINTS 

1 point for each correctly tipped win. No points for loss. 2 Bonus points for correctly tipping a complete Round (a complete Round is considered to consist of 8 games. If draw all tips for that game are rewarded 1 point. During State of Origin weeks the bonus points will not be offered.

On completion of Round 26 the tippers with the 3 highest overall scores will receive 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd prizemoney. If 2 tippers finish equal 1^st they will share 1^st and 2^nd prizemoney.  If two tippers finish equal 2^nd they will share 2^nd and 3^rd prizemoney and so on.

Prizemoney will be broken down as follows

            1^st             70%

            2^nd            20%

            3^rd            10%

With 20 entrants this will equate to $700 1^st, $200 2^nd, $100 3^rd. Final dividends will be declared at the completition of Round 5 when all monies are due and payable.

Entry fee is $50, and is due prior to the commencement of the first game (7.00pm Friday)
